Snow Globe Town.

I have a hint of nostalgic tendencies.
Nostalgia that can soothe your day dreams
by gripping your mind into submission,
Nostalgia that tiptoes in when the lights are dim
without your permission.

I have a hint of nostalgic tendencies.
It’s snowing outside,
a blue lagoon of jumping jacks reminds me of when I was a child.
Hopeful to see it last forever,
hopeful to catch them was my endeavour,
enough to make hearts spread far and wild.

I had a hint of nostalgic tendencies,
but now they don’t succumb,
they’d rather tease me with past pleasures;
as I drive lost through the town that I am from.
A snow globe town that has a frost bitten reminder,
but the blizzard will rest and thats when you’ll find her –
As I live towards my days and treasure the past that fades away.
